Waterproofing a Cracked Basement Floor

One thing that will cause seepage of water into your basement is a cracked floor. Sometimes a cement floor will crack due to improper mixing of the cement when it is poured. The weather during pouring can also cause cracks to form in the cement. So, if you have a damp basement you may need to get someone to seal the floor.  This is fairly simple. You begin by filling the cracks with fiber bases cement. Make sure it’s level, Then two coats of paint, followed by a finishing coat which is a clear sealer.
